The WA AGM will be held during the WA Combined TSANZ & ANZSRS ASM event coming up in a couple of weeks. Registration open at 8:30am on the day, we will aim for an 8:45am start on Saturday 6th July, where we will have 15 or so minutes for an AGM - if anyone has any questions, queries or general business they would like to bring up for the AGM, feel free to talk about them on the day or email me at WA@anzsrs.org.au to have them put on the Agenda. The AGM will be followed by the ANZSRS concurrent session on Smoking Cessation.
Registration for the ASM closes on 21st June 2019, and remember, ANZSRS WA members are eligible for the $50 subsidy for attending the conference on both days.
and finally, just a friendly reminder that we still have 2 grants available to support the ANZSRS WA members' professional Development, get your applications in by Friday 28th June.

Just a friendly reminder that there are TWO professional development awards on offer this year, each worth $750. Please see attached the relevant Application forms for each.
The awards are as follows:
Niche Medical PD Award - this is a long-standing award providing support for the professional development of WA ANZSRS members. Thank you Niche Medical for your continued support!
Children's Lung Health, Telethon Kids Institute PD Award - a new award established by the Children's Lung Health Unit brought about to increase the professional development opportunities of WA ANZSRS members. Thank you to the Children's Lung Health Unit for your support this year!
Please get your applications in to WA@anzsrs.org.au by 4pm (AWST) Friday 28th June. Professional development funding is few and far between for us here in WA, so please may I encourage that you take advantage of the opportunities that are available.
