Board of Directors Poll Outcome
We recently conducted an electronic poll for members to appoint two incoming ANZSRS Directors in anticipation of the retirement of Jarrod Warner and Christine Nathan from the Board. We are pleased to announce that Rachael Price (QLD) and Nicholas Romeo (VIC) will be joining the Board, with their official duties beginning at the 2022 AGM. On behalf of the ANZSRS membership, we extend our congratulations to Nic and Rachael! Thanks goes to all who participated in the vote, and to the three excellent candidates who applied for these positions.
CRFS Exam
A reminder that the April CRFS exam has been cancelled. There is every intention to move forward with the October exam, however the date has not been confirmed. Registrations for the next exam will open a month prior to the exam date. Keep an eye on the website for updates.
Expression of Interest (EOI) for the role of Webmaster
Expressions of interest are sought for the position of Webmaster within the society.
As a webmaster you will be responsible for the day to day maintenance of the ANZSRS website, tasks will include:
Uploading documents accessed by members including library corner and case of the month
- Monitoring content and ensuring currency of content
- Uploading and collating photos from ASM and regional events
- Editing web pages from time to time
- Sending out e-newsletters sent in by the Board and Regional Chairs
- Posting and removing jobs from the Jobs board
Webmasters must have a strong commitment to the role. Applicants will be required to communicate with fellow webmasters to ensure coordinated actions are performed in a timely fashion. Webmasters will report to the Director of Communications. Training on the use of the web design program Joomla will be provided.
