Call for EOIs for the MSAC Spirometry Telehealth Working Party Applications close COB Friday 20 May 5pm AEST
The Thoracic Society have met with the Department of Health to propose the idea of a model of spirometry via telehealth, as recommended by the TSANZ Lab Accreditation and Quality Committee (LAQC). This proposal aimed to address an identified need for remote spirometry services, especially for vulnerable patients. Following further discussion with the Department, the TSANZ in partnership with the ANZSRS is establishing a new Telehealth Spirometry Working Party to develop an MSAC Submission regarding this issue. The TSANZ and ANZSRS are currently looking for at least five (5) members to join this WP, with at least two ANZSRS members.
