Hello Visitor,
As you all know, over the last two weeks we have been running an anonymous poll for our next Vice-Chair for the Queensland Branch. Firstly, I would like to extend a big thank you to Grace Madden who will be stepping down as Vice-Chair. We look forward to your continued contribution as the Director of Communications on the ANZSRS Board.
The results have been tallied and I am happy to announce that our new Vice-Chair for QLD is Margy Britton from The Prince Charles Hospital. Margy will be taking over immediately and will help run the branch meetings and the organisation that is involved. I would like to thank everyone who put their hand up for the position, it was really encouraging to see so many people voice their EOI.
With that being said, I would also like to remind you all that the last branch meeting for the year is fast approaching, being held on the 13th of November at 5:30pm in the usual location. For those of you who don't yet know Margy, this is a great opportunity to say "Hello!" and wish her well for her new position. Details can be found on the flyer attached.
The scientist presentation will be a review of the new Standardisation of Spirometry from the ATS. Have a read through the article and then we will have a discussion about the changes that have been made.
Video Conferencing is available for people who are unable to attend. If you require VC, please let me know and I will set this up and email the details to you.
See you all there!
Rachel Price
