I hope everyone has had an amazing break over the festive period and feeling refreshed for the New Year!
With January almost over, I would like to take the opportunity to circulate the 2020 QLD branch roster for Library Corner, Case of the Month and the Branch meetings. Please review the roster attached, make note of the dates and if your lab is required to present/contribute.
I have attached the flyer for the first meeting on the 4th of March at 5:30pm. As usual, we are keeping this meeting free for all members who are presenting at the ASM at the end of March. This meeting is a great opportunity to receive constructive feedback on your presentation; oral or poster presentation. If you would like to participate in this please email me and let me know. Make sure you send me your slides or an electronic version of your poster so everyone can provide feedback on them.
The meetings will be held in the same location as last year in the 6A Outpatient’s Department Meeting Room on Level 6 of the Qld Children’s Hospital (formerly known as ‘LCCH’) unless otherwise stated on the flyers. I have attached information about parking and public transport to the meeting location. Video conferencing will be available for those unable to attend in person, if you would like to access this please email me and let me know.
