Hello Visitor,
Thank you to everyone who braved the storm and attended the branch meeting last Wednesday and to those who joined us online.
We heard from two presenters, firstly Liam Krebs from the Princess Alexandra Hospital who spoke about the "Respiratory physiology of a growing issue..." and gave us an insight into the effects of pregnancy on respiratory function, sleep, and exercise. Our next speaker was Danyon Bell from Mackay Base Hospital who spoke about "Pulmonary function and radiological features after COVID 19" through a review of several papers and highlighted the radiological ground glass findings in lungs post COVID infection.
