I hope everyone has had an amazing break over the festive period and feeling refreshed for the New Year!
With January in full swing, I would like to take the opportunity to circulate the 2021 QLD branch roster for Library corner, Case of the Month and the Branch meetings. Please review the roster attached, make note of the dates and if your lab is required to present/contribute.
I have attached the flyer for the first meeting on the 9th of March at 5:30pm. As usual, we are keeping this meeting free for any members who are presenting at the ASM. This meeting is a great opportunity to receive constructive feedback on your presentation; oral or poster presentation. If you would like to participate in this, please email me and let me know. Make sure you bring your slides or an electronic version of your poster so everyone can provide feedback on them. We will also be hearing from Rockhampton Hospital Laboratory who will be sharing a scientist presentation.
We will endeavor to hold meetings in person in the 6A Outpatient’s Department Meeting Room on Level 6 of the Qld Children’s Hospital (formerly known as ‘LCCH’) depending on the current COVID-19 restriction status. It is necessary to be prepared for a virtual presentation via Zoom if we cannot proceed with a face-to-face meeting.
