Expression of Interest - Governance Committee
The ANZSRS Board asks members to considersubmitting an EXPRESSION OF INTEREST to join the Governance Committee.As a committee of theANZSRS Board of Directors, the Governance Committeewill help the Board carry out itsdue-diligence related to thestrong development and operation of the Board andits committees.
Scope of Work
- Monitor the Board’sdue-diligence as it relates to governance. Recommend action to the board.

Monitor effectiveness of governance policies (e.g. Board operations,committee member expectations).

Recommend changes and/or new policies for Board action.

Recommend governance standards forBoard and committee operations.
-
Monitor adherence to the stated standards andengage the Board in dialogue for change.

Recommend any changes to Board structure ensuring the Board of directors fulfils its legal and moral obligations.
It is expected the Governance Committee will be asked to consult on mattersin a timely manner at the request of the Board.
Reporting
The Governance Committee will report to the Director of Policy and Governance.
