A Message From the ANZSRS Board

Hello Visitor,

This has certainly been another extraordinary year to follow on from the last one. We are very certain that we all wish things could be like they were in the good old days of 2018, but unfortunately that is not a reality at this point in time. The ANZSRS Board would like to acknowledge that this COVID pandemic has been particularly challenging and stressful for our members. The situations for our members has varied significantly over the last 18 months, in different states and even in different parts of the same state. The ANZSRS Board is extremely thankful to our members for the support they have shown each other over this time. This is something which should not be underestimated. An email or call from a colleague can go a long way to making people know that they are cared for. We know this is happening on a frequent basis and we are proud to be part of a society that has such a caring attitude towards each other. The ANZSRS Board would particularly like to send our thoughts to our NSW and Victorian members who have endured high COVID case numbers and protracted lockdowns, which we know have significant impacts on your professional and personal lives. We are thinking of you and hope you are okay. Please know that you all have our ongoing support and that you can reach out to us and other members for help. We are hoping that increased vaccination rates will enable a return to some form of a more normal life in these areas soon.
