Hello Visitor,
What a busy year this one has been and how it has flown. Hopefully everyone is coming out the of the winter months looking forward to some lighter restrictions moving forward as we adapt to this new Post COVID world. It has been an absolute pleasure to organise this year's local branch ASM in the sunny Nelson and even better that we will definitely be seeing a lot of you in person after the virtual conference last year. The organising committee hopes you will enjoy the academic and social program put together for this year as well as getting to physically interact with the each other and of course the vendors.
We understand that many laboratories around the country are under a lot of pressure and many are not able to attend this year but we are pleased to see a number of virtual enrollments and hope those attending virtually will enjoy reviewing the content in their own time. Just a reminder for in person attendees you will be able to review the recorded material for a period of time after the conference completion, the conference company will be in touch regarding this.
A main matter of business is the branch meeting. This will be held at the conference on Thursday 29th September 2022 at 4:45-5:15 in the Riwaka room at The Rutherford Hotel and on the below zoom link for those who are unable to attend in person. Please note that attendance to the branch meeting is welcome and encouraged for all NZ ANZSRS branch member and is not limited to those attending the conference virtually or in person. There are a few agenda items already however, if anyone else has other topics they would like discussed please feel free to email those me at kelly.webster@anzsrs.org.au and I would be happy to add these to the agenda. Alternatively at the conclusion of the scheduled topics anyone is open to raise topics for discussion.
Another email announcement will be distributed on Wednesday with a reminder of the zoom link for the meeting.
