Hello Visitor,
Welcome back New Zealand delegates!
What a summer it has been…. Or not been for some! Hopefully those down south have enjoyed the sunshine while those up north are hopefully doing alright after all the severe flooding and are getting some of the kiwi summer we know and love. This year looks to be and exciting one for our Society. With the removal of COVID restrictions we look to have in person conferences be back to normal the way we love them with many with their sights on the ASM in Christchurch next month.
Christina Humby the deputy branch chair and I have some exciting ideas to share with everyone and will be looking to update you on those during March’s monthly letter.
The other major event is our NZ branch meeting which will finally be in Rotorua this year after COVID-19 rescheduling and cancelling this event twice in person.
So without further ado….
The TSANZRS/ANZSRS New Zealand Branch committee would like to invite you to attend this year’s very exciting conference to be finally help in the lovely Rotorua September this year. The committee are working hard on developing an exciting program for everyone to enjoy. Set these dates in your calendars and look out for up coming notifications as the program fills up!
A new year means new challenges. This year the committee would like to offer an opportunity to budding Scientists who have been working on research over the past few years or ready for the challenge and hour to present in front of their peers to put their name forward to speak. If you think this may be something, you are interested in growing your presentation skills in front of your peers please be in touch with Kelly Webster the NZ Branch chair @ Kelly.webster@anzsrs.org.au to be considered for the speaking program.
Any questions and suggestions please feel free to email me any time on Kelly.webster@anzsrs.org.au
Kind Regards
Kelly Webster
ANZSRS Branch Chair
