The ANZSRS Board invite members to submit an Expression of Interest to join the CRFS exam review committee. The purpose of this committee is to
a) Review the current CRFS study guide and topic sections and section content.
b) Review the current exam questions
c) Identify areas of knowledge that are listed in the revised study guide that are missing from the exam question bank
d) Create new questions as needed
e) Determine appropriate weighting of topics within the exam
The committee will have a minimum of five members and a maximum of six members, with two committee membership positions being held by the CRFS Co-coordinators. In addition to nominating to be a committee member, please indicate if you wish to be considered for the role of Chair.
The committee members will be appointed by the Board
Committee members term of office will be until the completion of outcomes listed in section 1. Roles and responsibilities outlined in the Terms of Reference (TOR).
Criteria for Committee Members:
1. Voting members of ANZSRS and hold CRFS
2. A thorough knowledge of respiratory physiology
3. Extensive experience (>10 years) in respiratory function testing
4. Detailed knowledge and experience with internal procedures and structure of the ANZSRS
5. Experience in training/supervising junior staff and preference to those with tertiary and/or postgraduate training (preferred but not essential).
Reporting:
This committee will report to the Director of Education
Expected time frame for review:
Completion on or before March 2022
